Planet Hell is progressive death metal band established in 2014 at first as a solo project of Przemysław Latacz. Music is focused on the border of music genres such as classical death, thrash, black metal and industrial. Lyrics are inspired by Stanisław Lem’s works, brilliant SF writer, philosopher, futurologist and physician.
Line up was completed at the end of 2015 and group started to play live and gathered good reviews. Band played i.a. Metalgate Czech Death Fest 2018, opened Polish gigs of Obituary in July 2018, supported bands such as Pestilence, Hypnos and Tortharry in 2019.
Debut album entitled 'Mission One' is released in 2016 by Thrashing Madness as CD digibook and as download by Mad Lion Records.
In Metal Hammer editorial staff resume Przemysław Latacz is mentioned as one of the Musicians Of The Year. In many resume Planet Hell is mentioned as debut of the year 2016 and ‘Mission One’ as one of the best death metal albums of 2016.
This November (2019) band released second album entitled 'Mission Two’, inspired by most famous Lem’s novel - Solaris. CD digibook is published by Mad Lion Records.
